Ubisoft has released update 1.1 for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla which basically solves many bugs that did not allow many players to continue progressing. The update weighs in at 6.3GB on Xbox Series X, 5.7 on Xbox One, 2.4 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and 5.6 on PC.
On PC the patch has the same improvements as on other platforms but also fixes FPS drops when certain actions were performed for the first time, as well as during certain special effects.
Stability and improvements
On the other hand, all platforms fixed animation errors, clipping, the fishing minigame, the movement of the NPCs when working the leather, the murder of certain characters while they were unconscious and other various improvements.
The most important part is bug fixing on certain missions with spoilers. There are dozens of bugs that were cutting off the progress of many players. Players who were stuck will be able to continue advancing and the rest will be able to play without fear of progress being cut off.
One of the best known was in the mission “A Cruel Destiny”, one of the first in the game in which a certain boss did not start his second phase, so the mission had to be restarted. Most could already be solved this way, but this patch will avoid such hassle.
In addition to these issues, players had also encountered an issue where their game was ruined because a black screen obscured the view of Eivor and the player preventing progress. This would be fixed if we got a character to talk to. It is not known if this bug has been fixed since not in the patch notes, but we hope so.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla está disponible en PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia y PC (Uplay y Epic Games).
