The Warhammer franchise is celebrating right now with many discounts on Steam and the addition of new content to existing titles, perfect to make the wait for Warhammer: Darktide, the latest installment still in development by Fatshark, more enjoyable.
On the other hand, the same studio has continued to work hard on Vermintide II, the first-person shooter that was released with five characters capable of taking three different careers to vary the ways of playing. Now, with the updates and DLCs, these characters have been opting for a fourth race and the Upcoming DLC will bring one for Kerillian.
Fourth race for Kerillian
The elf could be a Maiden, a Shade or a Waystalker, now she can be a Sister of the Thorne. The DLC is called the same way and will be released later this month on consoles, although on PC it is available right now.
The announcement was presented with a cinematic trailer in which the elf was presented with very bitter words about what she had lost and the danger of asking favors from the gods. At that moment a group of enemies is about to attack her and we can see her using magical powers and launching into battle with spears impregnated with green magic.
Thematically it seems that we are before the elf who defends the territory (the forests) with inclement violence, in addition the visual effects of her powers suggest that the source is the forest itself. Along with the new career come new weapons and abilities, opening up new possibilities for everyone who uses this character.
Kerillian and his new career are available on Steam for payment, and will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One on June 30. The game also works on the next gen through backward compatibility.
