A new rumor about Call of Duty: Warzone reveals that the game could get a new map based on WWII in 2022. As many of you know, rumors that have been going around for months are that the battle royale will change the main map due to a large nuclear explosion. To date, the map has undergone minor changes, but the location has not been moved at any time. Of course, different game modes have been implemented in new mappings, like Island of Rebirth.
However, this new rumor does not refer to the map that will replace Verdansk when the nuclear bombs explode, but to a whole new one. Tom henderson, an industry insider who has been right in the past, recently claimed the card will arrive in 2022.
According to Henderson, Warzone will get some sort of WWII experience, although that may not be in the main mapping, but in a new way, like the one seen on Renaissance Island. Details on the map are scarce, but Henderson appears to be very confident in the information. In addition, he also comments that the people responsible for creating this map will be Raven Software.
That said, It should be noted that this information is nothing more than a rumor., so we have to wait to find out what happens in the famous battle royale. Also, there are few such games that completely change the main mapping (we’re not talking about changes due to events within it), so thinking in an Island of Rebirth-like mode would be more real.
