The battle royale genre is very fought within the video game industry. On the one hand we have the undisputed king such as Fortnite and on the other hand aspirants such as PUBG, Apex Legends or COD: Warzone who seek to attract new users with their updates.
Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the contenders with the best numbers related to battle royale and now we know that the free to play title was updated with a new series of content that will take us back to the 80s of the last century.
Now we know that we will be able to play as Rambo and John McClane from today on some pretty colorful maps like Nakatomi Plaza. So if you are a fan of Bruce Willis or Sylvester Stallone you are in for a good day to venture onto the Verdansk battlefield.
A wave of new content
Another highlight of this Call of Duty: Warzone update is the arrival of new maps that will be available for a limited time. Inside the center of the map we will no longer have the transmission tower and the surrounding blocks, but we will find the Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard in which Willis had such impressive confrontations in the past.
In the same way, we will also find up to 10 Rambo-themed camps that will come loaded with rewards that are more than interesting for users who venture to seize them. Another of the new places that we will have at our disposal will be a CIA outpost where we will find new missions related to fallen soldiers.
Along with the new characters and maps, Call of Duty: Warzone will also receive new optional missions that will allow us to disarm a bomb very similar to Counter Strike and others in which we will have to assault a bank vault to be able to leave millionaires.
The truth is that this update looks quite striking and will surely be very well received by the title community.
