How to update your PS5 without internet connection?
You can keep your PlayStation 5 up to date even without connecting it to the internet. To do this, the first thing to do is download the latest update released by Sony from the official PlayStation website
On a PC or Mac, create a folder in a USB drive and name it “PS5”. In this folder, create another one with the name “UPDATE”.
Save the update file you downloaded earlier in the “UPDATE” folder. Save it as “PS5UPDATE.PUP”.
Check that the “PS5” folder is in the root directory of your USB drive and not in another directory.
Connect the USB stick, which contains the file, to your PlayStation 5 console and also connect your DualSense via USB.
Start PS5 in Safe Mode. To do this, hold down the power button and release it after hearing the second beep.
Select Safe Mode option 3 “Update System Software”.
Select the option “Update from USB storage device” and click “OK”.
