Hailed from all three generations of PlayStation Hardware, Shadow of the Colossus has carved a special place in all our hearts. From the moment you defeat your first giant, you know something is wrong… that maybe you you should not kill these magnificent creatures. But that's your job, and life is left over.
Each Colosse is unique, with its unique look, characteristic pattern, and occasionally its own hot orchestral note. It is difficult to walk away from these battles and not be moved by the bowel cleansing game that takes place in each lesson. Those of us on the Blog Blog certainly feel that way, and we've shared the most memorable ones below. Let us know which Colossus you like!
For those of you who haven't played yet, Hey, it's free for PS Plus until April 6 *. The right time

At the beginning of the project, we were trying to figure out exactly what the virtual bar would be like. We have been alternating between ideas when we finally come to the idea that aligns everyone with all their different ideas of what a game looks like.
We decided that we would do a hard push – 10 weeks of focus, a focus of focus on one area of the game to establish our little bar of visual quality and gameplay that Shield would have when it was delivered.
At the end of this 10-week period, we brought the whole team together in what we call “triple meetings” – that space at our station where both wings of the office space combine to form a triangle. In Shadow, it had a much more open space than it does in our current project, so it made sense to gather a group there. Anyway, we got the team together, and we were passing through the "vertical team" of the game, which finally arrived, defeating the first collage. It was the first time the team had seen our version of the whole colossus interacting with powerful fur, particle effects, lighting, sound … everything combined. I forget who was playing at the time, but they made Wander's call to college for attention.
I still feel cool when I think of the first time we see a collar stand and turn to look at us, and then we head straight for the purpose of crushing it, its fur turning sideways as it shakes, the ground bends beneath its feet. It was a happy time! You can feel the pride everyone in the team had for what was done. The loud “woe” from the audience was great! There was no question that we hit our mark, and we had the whole game sign in front of our eyes!
Looking back now a few years ago, it's funny how surprised we are, because the area around the first column improved considerably over time – compared to that of the vertical member – but it served a purpose and gave us clarity to take the game we all liked.
By default, the whole experience was repeated by everyone watching the PlayStation E3 press conference in 2017 when our drama was playing. Hearing the audience's reaction to seeing the first colossus turn to Wander is one of the best moments of our collective work.
Brett Elston: The Third Colossus
At that point when I had six Colsi under my belt, it was easy to feel confident and ready or a little prepared for the next challenge. The demolition, which is quadrupedal, is longer than anything I have ever experienced in my life … yep, I've seen it and done all that. But when I looked at the eye of the abyss that saturated this creature, that conviction filled me.
Once I saw this Colossus, I knew that Wander's wars would not be confined to the world. How deep is the crime in which he lives? Does it exist? otherwise down there? All of the experiences gained so far have led you out the window – or if you prefer, into the unknown depths next to this unforgettable Colossus.
While some battles take place in open, open spaces, the enemy remains dead under the surface, which raises both the feeling of attraction and of the low ground. I will never forget the feeling of longing for dear life as you wander in the dark, trying to tie me up and turn my back on an electric style attack. The whole reunion took me back to the days of PS2 for sure, and I only appeared 13 years later on the reunion.
Kristen Zitani: The Tenth Colossus
Honestly, part of why this is my favorite Colossus is because I found it so difficult! When Wander found the sandy entrance to the Tenth Colossus I thought I actually had a lift in the game. The front puzzles were challenging and the battles were biting, but not until I was able to handle things with one or two tries. That all changed when I was faced with the yellow eyes of the Tenth Colossus as he chased me under the surface.
Sitting in front of the Colossus was difficult, dropping my arrows was very difficult. But when I finally put my trust in Agro to run straight without my guidance, giving me the time and pledge to make my own gun and take that downside, there was no better feeling.
Sid Shuman: Eleventh Colossus
I will never forget my first battle with that average pugilist. At this point in this game, I have won 10 superheroes by meet, jump, hang and stab. I was convinced, maybe even a little cocky.
After that this little disaster enters the scene and changes everything. He is big and fast; thin and fast, requiring outside-the-box thinking. This intense game of cat and mouse expands the game's systems in magical ways. From using the torch to light the colossus back, clinging to dear life while cramped in canyons, this encounter has been a brilliant idea, and cemented the Statue of Colossus as one of the most amazing and amazing games.
Timo Turi: The Fifth Colossus
Until the Fossth Colossus, the whole battle took place in a tight spot. I knew there was something different as it passed through these dark waters. The fear of the giant water buff that shoots Wander's feet gave me joy. The fact of the encounter was shocking to the body.
A large beast with stone wings and flowers swooped above. The magnificent creature stood in the ruins of a lump and watched all of mine. It didn't want to fight, only to be seen. The only disagreement in the scene of the warne was my archery. A small arrow passed through the air and kicked safely to the skin. The Colossus spreads its amazing wings and flung itself into the air.
I still remember the rush of adrenaline as the flying behemoth would enter. The game forces players to keep an eye on the devil and jump on the shoulders of big animals to ride. From there, "fighting" takes on completely different feelings. Wander's only threat is to lose the creature's wings and fall. Hunting the endangered hippos, the wings and the beast of the bank was fun. That high elevation was associated with the sinking to watch the Colossus accept its defeat and descend into the dark waters. My sadness was chewed in the wrong depths, trying to escape the sin familiar to Wander's victory.
The encounter is still the standout moment of the game to this day.
That is considered a team, but with fewer entries than the Colts, we didn't get a chance to hear and hear about the full list. This is where we turn to you!
