The new and long-awaited trailer for ‘The Suicide Squad’ was released in an atypical format, so atypical that some could have passed from it. While we believe the YouTube Ads launch strategy is innovative and purposeful, we are here to tell you everything you missed by skipping it too early.
James Gunn’s next film, defined as a standalone sequel, a “soft reboot” of David Ayer’s ‘Suicide Squad’, is just over a month away from being released and therefore we appreciate any preview that can be offered to us.
A few months ago, the first full trailer for the film was released to reveal important pieces of the new team that are complemented by the “originals”: Margot Robbie, Jai Courtner, Viola Davis and Joel Kinnaman.
The cast is completed by figures such as John Cena, Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian, Pete Davidson and Sylvester Stallone.

Now, the new trailer for the film has been released as a YouTube ad and we wonder: how good, or bad, do those first few seconds of the trailer have to be to prevent people from deciding to hit the scary skip button? Well, here we go with a summary.
We do not want to be too specific, to avoid losing interest in the announcement, however, we tell you that the preview begins with Elba, playing Bloodsport, before an Amanda Waller (Davis), while she refuses to join the Suicide Squad.
After a confrontational and threatening first scene, we meet the cast who, second Waller, was selected for their “unique abilities.” However, as we do not want to advance you too much, we prefer to leave you with doubts so that this trailer does not become those ads for songs of doubtful origin or courses in English given by a Swede who speaks Spanish.
This group of special “superheroes” is ready to take on a new mission, and we’re not sure they’ll all return in “one piece.” After all, the purpose of your team is to be as risky and fearless as being missed.
