Yuji Naka isn’t the only one accused of misusing Square Enix’s confidential information. A former employee of the Japanese studio is also accused of collaborating with the boss of Sonic Team. As we know, in the case of Dragon Quest Tact, the two bought a total of 10,000 shares and a value close to 20,000 dollars.
In the case of Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, Naka and the former Square Enix employee invested in more than 120,000 stocks. A number that reached millions of dollars. For the Dragon Quest title and the JRPG spin-off, the two designers intended to later sell the shares once the projects were presented to the public.
