I love video games, I love architecture, and I love edgy books about both, so what’s to come Video Game Atlas is something I am great interested in checking when it will be released. The book, which “takes influence from publications on late 20th century experimental architecture,” was written by Luke Caspar Pearson and Sandra ...
The GeForce Now cloud gaming service has been updated to include native support for Mac computers with Apple Silicon chips. This way, all users who have a MacBook, iMac oh mac mini with the M1 chip, they will be able to access the platform. Without a doubt, this is interesting news, because until now everyone ...
Its absence in the Android world has been taken advantage of by other players, such as ARM itself with Mali or Qualcomm with its Adreno. This prompted them to turn to other markets, such as the Chinese manufacturer Innosilicon, famous for its ASICs for mining, which not so long ago presented its Fantasy 1. This ...
Colors / Kernels with heterogeneous architecture We are facing Intel’s first heterogeneous or hybrid architecture where two different types of cores are used at the same time. The first of these is called P-Core and it is a high performance core, although it is less energy efficient. The second type is called E-Core and it ...
To understand how the VISC paradigm works, we need to consider two different concepts regarding processor performance. The first of these is the fact that PC processors today have an even smaller internal instruction set than RISC, because what they do is transfer each of the instructions into smaller microinstructions. internally during the decoding phase. ...
A person can have a pacemaker due to heart disease, well, although it is relatively simple material, it still has to give a response within a certain time. If we are already moving around in the driving environment, we can find a microcontroller responsible for making sure that the whole system is working at the ...
Although its greatest novelty lies in the AMX unit, which is a Tensor type unit like that of GPUs, but with a difference, whereas in the case of graphics cards the set of registers is shared and therefore its operation is switched with the SIM units, the AMX is a full-fledged execution unit that can ...
P-Cores are large cores that offer excellent performance, but in return for being less energy efficient. E-Cores are smaller cores, allowing Intel to fit more in the same space and have lower power consumption. Depending on the Intel Core 12 model, the number of P-Cores and E-Cores varies, but we have to clarify that the ...
The architecture we are talking about in this article is not yet available on the market, it has not even been presented, but it is the product of an analysis of the advances made in recent years, as well as the various patents on the Multi-GPU chiplets that AMD, NVIDIA and Intel have released over ...
NVIDIA has been keenly interested in purchasing ARM for some time, and despite all the challenges it poses in completing its non-hostile takeover bid, the automaker seems so convinced that it will come to fruition that it does. already done. the first technical demonstration of what the combination of the two companies can do. Así, ...
