Role-playing game fans may have reason to be happy, because a renowned insider is certain: A sequel to the successful Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be presented shortly.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance from Warhorse Studios was released in 2018 and certainly convinced role-playing fans. It was only this year that the previous PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions were followed by a Switch implementation. But now things could get even better, because according to reports, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is about to be officially announced.
According to one of the gaming industry’s most renowned insiders, Tom Henderson, the RPG successor will be officially announced next week on April 18, 2024. After years of waiting, the fans’ hopes will probably be answered and the franchise will continue after all.
Warhorse Studios had previously announced the launch of a new game for the above date. This is scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m. US East Coast Time; For us it will be at 8:00 p.m. in the evening. There will also be a broadcast of the performance via Twitch and YouTube.
The development studio left it open what the new title would be about. But Henderson is sure: It’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. How extensive the announcement event will be is not yet clear. It therefore remains to be seen whether there will be gameplay or perhaps just a short teaser.
The first part, released in 2018, is considered one of the better games based around medieval history. Back then you were able to let off steam in the 15th century and complete numerous quests with Henry and master the challenging survival mechanics. At the beginning, the title was plagued by bugs, but the developers have reworked it and Kingdom Come: Deliverance is enjoying mostly positive reviews on Steam.
