Just in time for the end of the day, NVIDIA grabbed the driver box so that you can play Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 in all its glory this evening and there are even more features.
NVIDIA released new game-ready drivers for its own GeForce RTX graphics cards this afternoon and that fits in really well with today’s release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. The drivers bring optimized support for DLSS 3 and frame generation as well NVIDIA Reflex for reduced latencies. This should give RTX owners a good chance of enjoying the game in all its glory.
Colleague Matthias was more than impressed with the audio-visual implementation and on the PC the game pleased with excellent optimization, which, thanks to DLSS 3 and frame generation, was able to tickle the game well over 130 fps in 4K resolution with maximum details on our test computer .
But there is also good news for some upcoming games. The sci-fi adventure Wuthering Waves arrives on May 22nd, with DLSS 2 support. On May 23rd, the survival adventure Serum goes into early access and starts directly with DLSS 3, DLAA and Reflex. Star Citizen players can also look forward to more performance, as the new update of the sci-fi epic at least brings DLSS 2 into the game and thus improved frame rates on RTX graphics cards. The same applies to the shipping simulation Ships at Sea, which will also be released on May 23rd.
On May 28th, EA Sports F1 24, the next part of the Codemasters racing simulation, will be released, which also has a number of NVIDIA features on board, including DLSS 3, DLAA, Reflex and ray tracing for stylish optics and crisp frame rates. Ubisoft has finally launched the arena shooter XDefiant, and thanks to Reflex, system latencies are supposed to be reduced by up to 58 percent.
Last but not least, the latest Game Ready driver supports 11 additional G-SYNC compatible displays from partners such as ASUS, Dell, Philips, IODATA and LG.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is finally here and of course there is the corresponding launch trailer.
