Super Nintendo World is being built against the clock as an expansion of the Universal Studios complex in Osaka, Japan. This theme park based on Nintendo's most famous plumber, will be ready before the Tokyo Olympics, and promises to be a technological revolution of what we are used to seeing in this type of attractions.
The technological integration of the complex will give the feeling of being in a video game. Thanks to a wearable wristband called “Power Up Bands” that synchronizes with the smartphone through an app

The mobile app will not only have an interactive map to discover and mark attractions, but also it will be possible to create a personal profile and unlock achievements. It remains to be clarified how virtual currencies will be achieved and what can be purchased with them, whether physical merchandising of the park's games, such as the newly confirmed attraction of Mario Kart, or digital rewards for Nintendo games. Meanwhile, you can listen the main theme of Super Mario World created by Galantis and Charli XCX entitled "We are Born to play".
According to Thierry Coup, Osaka will not be the only city that Super Mario World will reach. Although there are no confirmed dates yet, it is expected that it will be built soon in the Universal parks of the United States (Hollywood, California, and Orlando, Florida), as well as in Singapore.
