In August of last year, mi miHoYo appeared Genshin effect, an open-world adventure that seems to take healthy inspiration from The History of Zelda: Breathing in Wildlife. So much so, in fact, that one angry follower was so upset that Tony made the choice to upgrade such a game until he hit his PS4 in protest.
He was not the only person unhappy; Some Zelda fans stepped up to the show where the Genshin Impact was on display and grabbed their copies of Breath of the Wild, as well as making (ahem) a gruesome act. Not to mention that they were not less than impressed with miHoYo's efforts.
We're afraid to think what those same people will think now that it's been confirmed Genshin effect it is and coming to Switch. Earlier scheduled to be released in 2020, the publisher now says a solid release date will be "announced" – but to look like it will calm any negative reaction to the delay, has also introduced a new spot in the game, called "Of the Land" Among the Monoliths. "You can see the new location in the trailer below.
