Today Capcom revealed new details about during a digital showcase event Resident Evil VillageThe upcoming and highly anticipated entry into the Resident Evil franchise starts on May 7th, 2021 for Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One via backward compatibility. It was also announced Resident Evil Re: vers, A new multiplayer game in which players compete against each other in unique deathmatch battles in different locations.
In addition to announcing the release date, Capcom also announced significant gameplay material Resident Evil 7 BiohazardEthan Winters, who returns as the lead character of Resident Evil Village. The development team promised promising action combined with Resident Evil’s signature survival horror gameplay, and also shared new details from the upcoming game that will draw on fan-favorite elements from previous Resident Evil games.
New to Ethan is the ability to buy and sell items, purchase recipes for crafting, and customize weapons thanks to a trader known only as The Duke. Think of him as your in-game gunsmith who, using the resources you find throughout the game, will provide you with recipes for making consumables and other foods that will help you survive the dreaded village.
One of the most talked about teases on Resident Evil news today was Lady Dimitrescu (aka Tall Vampire Lady), whose mysterious daughters can transform into swarms of insects (no thanks). How these characters will play a part in the larger story of Resident Evil Village remains to be seen. We assume, like other entries in the series, to face other unique adversaries, each with their own unique and terrifying ways to attack us. Bring it on!
