Hitman 3 has been released and can convince many testers. Accordingly, it is a worthy successor to the equally well-rated second part of the assassin series. A closer look at the tests makes it clear: If you want more of the same in very high quality, you are in good hands with the latest part.
Assassin 47 gets one in our own GameStar test Rating of 84 points. We were particularly impressed by the level design. Not only graphically, but also through the numerous different solutions for each mission.
On the other hand, we would like improvements in the AI, which has not learned anything since the second part. Even the gameplay itself is at a high level, but hardly differs from its predecessor. You can read more about this in our test:

Hitman 3: An overview of the ratings of major magazines
The voices of the testers
The game received the highest ratings from VG247, EGM and GamesBeat, where it can achieve the highest possible score of the system with a rating of 5/5 stars. Tester Alex Donaldson from VG247 sums up the game as follows:
“On its own, Hitman 3 is a good game with lots of variety and lots to do. As part of a whole, the World of Assassination trilogy is one of the best and most complete trilogies in video game history. It’s a fitting one, at least for now Finale for 47 and I’m excited to see what IO will do with James Bond or whatever they do next. “
One of the lowest ratings, however, comes from Comicbook.com. Their tester Logan Moore views the title much more soberly and sees it as one of the weaker parts of the current Hitman trilogy. At the same time, he believes that things will get better over time.
“Hitman 3 is a keni game that I would even remotely call bad, but it didn’t do much to really blow my mind. It feels more like an expansion than a fancy new part. Still, despite one Handful of negatives, the promise is there that Hitman 3 is a game that will grow and get better with time. “
Hitman 3 appeared on January 20, 2021 for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and Nintendo Switch. The game not only values how you get your job done, but also how you do it. You will be encouraged to play each level over and over to complete it even better.
