After the success of the Netflix series for The Witcher, further implementations of the franchise are on the agenda. The streaming service also wants to produce a prequel with “The Witcher: Blood Origin” – and a leading actress has now been found for this.

This is a six-episode prequel to the successful Netflix series “The Witcher”, which was originally officially announced in July 2020. Lauren Hissrich will again act as producer.
Turner-Smith is said to rush to take on the lead. She is considered an elite fighter “blessed with the voice of a goddess” and leaves her clan and her position as protector of the queen to follow her heart as a nomadic musician.
