Dolby Vision in the Apple TV app and Spotify Video Podcasts for Xbox

Starting this week, you can enable Dolby Vision in the Apple TV app and watch video podcasts with the Spotify app.

Dolby Vision activated in the Apple TV app

Step into history with Dolby Vision – activated in the Apple TV app. You can watch some of your favorite Apple TV + shows, such as:Ted Lasso, “Mythic Quest”, “For All Mankind”, “See” and “The Mosquito Coast”

in Dolby Vision on your Xbox Series X | S consoles. Combined with the impressive audio of Dolby Atmos, you can see and hear what you have been missing for an incomparable premium experience.

Live a remarkable entertainment experience with the vivid picture of Dolby Vision. Admire a wider range of colors with highlights up to 40 times brighter and blacks 10 times darker than a standard image.

To experience it on a Dolby Vision-compatible TV, “Allow Dolby Vision” must be enabled and enabled in “Settings”> “General”> “TV and Display Options”> “Video Modes” on your console. You can also check if content is available in Dolby Vision by looking for the Dolby Vision logo at the bottom of the Description page of Movie / Show in the Apple TV app or during playback by pressing the B button on your controller.

Spotify Video Podcasts

Video podcasts are now available in the Spotify app for Xbox. It’s a great way to enhance the experience for both creators and fans. You can set video podcasts like “The Outsiders ”,“ Higher Learning with Van Lathan & Rachel Lindsay ”and“ Was that fun? with Addison & Sheri. “

You can play video podcasts in the Spotify app so that the video plays full screen, or you can play Spotify in the background so you can listen to podcasts and play your favorite games at the same time – just like listening to music on Spotify. And don’t forget that you can use the Spotify app on your mobile device to control Spotify playback on your Xbox, so you don’t have to pause your game if you want to change something. To start playback, press play on a video podcast in the Spotify app.
