During the Summer Games Fest Warner confirmed that Back 4 Blood would have a closed beta for those who pre-purchase the game. It seemed that that was all but today the study confirms that there will be a second beta on all platforms that will give access to anyone who wants to try it. There will also be cross-play between all platforms so we can test the title in depth.
For its part, the pre-purchase benefit gives you access to the beta one week before, as well as access to the open beta, so you will have two weeks of Back 4 Blood play weeks before its premiere. Also, there is a possibility (low, according to Warner) that registering on the web
Access for all
Accessing the beta does not require anything else, subscriptions to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold are not necessary, nor a previous payment (except in Japan and Germany), so this August will be the first litmus test for this game which aspires to be as successful as Left 4 Dead. Of course, if it achieves half its longevity and success, it will already be a great victory for Turtle Rock.

It has also been confirmed that this June 13 the title will be shown at E3 and that there will be detailed PvP gameplay, since the game will not only have cooperative modes. These modes can be tested during both betas, specifically there will be five characters, their weapons, two cooperative maps and two PvP maps.
Back 4 Blood is a first person shooter that focuses on killing zombies in a world completely lost due to a virus. Only this group of “zombie killers” who call themselves the “exterminators” survive. The game comes from Warner and Tutle Rock, a group of developers who participated in the creation of Left 4 Dead, Valve’s exclusive title.
The Back 4 Blood closed beta will be from August 5 to 9, while the open beta will be from August 12 to 16. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC.
