The ambitious Avatar game is presented and already has a launch window
Ubisoft has put the finishing touches to its presentation of E3 2021 surprising everyone with the announcement of one of its most ambitious developments, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, a project that will arrive in 2022 and including a tape- Shocking cinematic ad was shown. The game will leave behind the previous generation of consoles to focus on the possibilities of the current one; will arrive exclusively at PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PC, Stadia and Luna.
It is Mass entertainment, Ubisoft’s in-house studio in charge of The Division saga, which was behind this highly secret project. Of the new Avatar game, there was only information confirmed by James Cameron in 2017 that it was under development by Ubisoft and that the engine used for development was the same as The Division.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was shown with a spectacular first cinematic trailer where the world of Pandora looked like a thousand wonders, without anything to envy the incredible planet full of color and light from the original film. The video shows the reality from two points of view, that of the indigenous beings of Pandora, the Na’vi, allied with nature, and the humans, equipped with war machines to conquer the planet.
While we haven’t had a chance to see its playability yet, best of all is that we won’t have to wait long to play it; will arrive in 2022, the same year the Avatar sequel hits theaters.
