We knew that the event of Return Digital would bring more than one game to consider, and it has been. Trek to Yomi has been one of his first assets for the presentation, an action and platform game inspired by the fashion of samurai striking each other in black and white.
Looking to repeat the attention gained by Ghost of Tsushima, the idea seems to invite us to go through different 2D scenarios while we overcome obstacles with cinematic action and we fight based on sword strokes.
At times remember Mark of the Ninja, for that of being in 2D and Japanese aesthetics, but with a much more serious proposal at the narrative level. It remains to be seen to what extent it will be as linear as that.
We will have to wait until next year to verify it. Trek to Yomi will hit PC, PS5, and Xbox Series sometime in 2022 yet to be revealed. We will certainly be attentive to your arrival.
