Game news Guardians of the Galaxy: Eidos Montreal comments on lack of microtransactions

Guardians of the Galaxy has been in development for several years and was officially announced during the Square Enix Present at E3 2021. Single player game, the title will not embed microtransactions, even for cosmetic items.
In an interview with VentureBeat, Eidos Montreal returned through Mary DeMarle to the subject, senior narrator. The team’s wish, respected by the publisher, is, in their opinion, to offer all content as soon as the Guardians of the Galaxy is published. According to reports, the developers agreed that they identified with players who were frustrated that they couldn’t get everything without spending extra money. It is therefore important “that everything is available when the game starts”.
For us the idea is: Here is the game, have fun driving. All the outfits, and I think there are about 39 outfits to choose from, these are just cosmetics. They won’t change the gameplay. But you find them by exploring the world and you can put them on top of the characters. (…) It was important to us that everything is in play and that you can find everything from day one. It was our goal.
Expected on October 26th on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S., the title gives players the opportunity to take control of Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, and bring in Drax, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon and Groot an adventure played in the third person
