At the very end of Half-life: decay there’s a tiny Easter egg to be found, but only if you change your perspective and pay close attention to a broken computer.
This secret was discovered by Half a life Expert and YouTuber, MarphitimusBlackimus. This morning they uploaded a short video demonstrating and explaining the Easter egg.
At the very end of Half-life: decay, a co-op expansion of the original game developed by Gearbox Software for the PS2, you can usually see the ending from Gina’s perspective. She is one of the two scientists you can play like in the co-op campaign. However, with some modifications, you can see the final scene of the game from Colette’s perspective. (She’s the other scientist to play as Disintegrate.)
If you did this, you would potentially notice a broken computer in one corner of the room. It’s only seen on the screen for a few seconds, but during that time a series of sparks flash across its surface. While these may seem random, MarphitimusBlackimus examined them and discovered a little secret. If all spark effects are activated via a map editor, you will find the initials “MA”.

This Easter egg is neat but not as weird as some of the other secrets that are hidden in it Half-life: decay. For example there is one secret only be found when the player meets a corpse about 600 times.
From all of them Half-life: decay Secrets, my personal favorite was found in 2016 from our old buddy MarphitimusBlackimus. If you photograph a control panel right at the beginning of a level in Disintegrate, YesÖYou can get some secret dialogue that keeps making me giggle over and over again.
