A newer PS5 digital console has been found, and the only change seems to be that it is a bit lighter than the current product.
According to the pdf of the new manual uploaded by Sony, PS5 Digital Edition The model listed on the Japanese website is about 7% lighter than the current model.
The new model (CFI-1100B) is clearly 300 grams lighter than the currently available model (CFI-1000B) (passed Renka_schedule).
In other words, the only difference between the two digital models is that one is slightly lighter than the other, and most people won’t even really notice this (thanks, resetera).
But another change that appears with the new model is the addition of a thumbscrew to the base of the console.
The current base has a screw, and many customers find it a little troublesome to get up and down. Fortunately, the new thumbscrews should be able to solve any problems customers encounter when installing and removing the base.
So you have it. A slightly lighter console with a new and improved base screw.
