A little bespin … in pink: With version 3.14, Star Citizen offers a new unique environment, a gas giant called Crusader. A gas giant that rhymes with a volumetric cloud allows players to discover the first version of this technology in the game. Currently static and implemented for Crusader only, the studio plans to add dynamic clouds to all planets in the game in a future update.
The city in the clouds: Crusader doesn’t arrive alone, players have the opportunity to discover Orison, a city that floats in the atmosphere of the planet. The city is organized around a variety of floating platforms consisting of a landing zone, Crusader Industries-branded shipyards, residential areas, gardens, and a spaceport.
