In the past few years, Microsoft has built a galaxy of first-party studios while also forging links with many other companies. If we have already discovered some of the current projects, this is fueling rumors about the preparations of the manufacturer.

The latest rumor comes from Jez Corden who works for Windows Central

, most also by Jeff Grub, the very talkative VentureBeat insider. According to them, Microsoft Xbox would be working on a new breed of MMO that is fully integrated into the cloud, codenamed Pax Dei. The development would have been entrusted to the Finnish studio Mainframe, with the aim of optimizing the experience and mechanics depending on the medium used. The studio with more than 50 employees, clearly announces on its side that a cloud-based MMO is being worked on, which could therefore be the game ordered

from Microsoft.

While anyone in Pax Dei can do anything on any device, there are a few tasks that make more sense depending on the venue. So if you’re using your phone at work, you can open up the game and do some quick tinkering or mining resources. Then, when you get back to your PC or console, you can embark on more complex missions like heist, Grubb says.
