The upcoming reboot of Fable has been in development at Playground Games for four years.
Playground Games lead engineer Tom Golton recently tweeted that he’d been working on the Fable reboot for four years.
Little has been announced of the game’s details so far, but it has been confirmed that Anna Megill, the lead writer at Control, will be the game’s lead writer. It is also confirmed that the game uses the powerful ForzaTech engine.
Tom Golton now reveals how long the project has been in development and celebrates another year of work in the studio:
“4 years of work on Fable @WeArePlayground. So excited for this game. “
