SteamWorld Headhunter, a 3D third-person co-op action adventure game, has been announced as the next title in the SteamWorld series

Earlier today, Thunderful Games gave us our first look at the next entry in the SteamWorld series. Making the jump into the third-person co-op action adventure genre, SteamWorld Headhunter will take the franchise into 3D for the first time, while also attempting to “maintain the style and charm” of the beloved 2D predecessors. As for story elements, the game will take place directly following the events of SteamWorld Dig 2. Not much more info has been shared as of yet, including the pricing, launch date, and console platforms, but we’ll be sure to update you as more details are provided by the development studio.
