Quite a strange bunny is a stealth platformer about a rabbit who loves to eat pigs. I think that’s a pretty weird setting for a game, right?
You play as the red-eyed rabbit with a very unusual diet and your main goal is to reach the end of each level and secure a (pork) meal for the day. However, your rabbit friends are not exactly happy with your food choices, so you have to go carefully through each level without being spotted – as they will do whatever it takes to prevent you from reaching your snack.
AJ Ordaz, the developer of the game, combines the game concept with his own life experience. While growing up, their diverse interests also made them feel like outcasts, which made them a target for their peers.
The game features bright, colorful, and cute designs to provide an intentional contrast between the serious underlying story. The first version of the game was originally created as a browser game in 2016, a very simple version that only offered 25 levels. People seemed to love it, however, so in 2018 AJ decided it was time to redesign the game from the ground up and make it a little bit more ambitious – and the result is finally here! A completely different art style, 80 levels, four different worlds and many more surprises.
