Greetings players! My name is Stephen Takowsky and I am the community manager for Grow: Song of the Evertree. Australian Prideful Sloth is the developer of Grow and they wanted to share some important tips and strategies to help you on your journey to restore the Evertree.
Explore the worlds of Alaria
Who knows what weird and interesting things you might find while exploring? Oh! There is a safe there. What is that? A recipe for a seed of the world! I wonder what’s in this cave… GOOD! We just let you discover this one for yourself
Shop till you drop
Buildings aren’t just a great place to live and work for your residents. They also sell items. Need new clothes? Plonk a tailor down. Need a new make? Well the hair salon is the place for you. Need adventure supplies, the general store has what you’re looking for (and some things you didn’t even know you needed).
Visit Everkin often
The Everkins are helpful companions you’ll meet on your adventure, and they have their own mini-town known as Where-Ever. It’s a fantastic place to visit and a great place to trade items – you see, the Everkins don’t have much interest in worldly possessions. But you might well!
Sort / Organize your tools to save time
There is so much to accomplish every day and you might not want to waste time. There are a number of ways you can access your tools, so be sure to play Grow in the way that works best for you! You have the option to sort your tools for the best efficiency for the way you want to play.
Interact with the world
Pick flowers, shake trees, cut grass, play with creatures, solve puzzles, interact with townspeople, design amazing landscaping for your city and much more. One of our goals was to create an interactive sandbox game with life management and adventure elements. Not only will you be able to build your city, but you will also take your experience to the next level by creating a unique community.
Create the worlds you want to explore
Do you find a warm and peaceful world pleasant? Then do it. Want to try a spongy, smelly world? If you really want it, we’ve got you covered. How about a cute, dreamy world with loads of sparkling goodness? We got you.
You control the seeds of the world you create. Have fun, mix things up, and don’t be afraid to experiment. Sometimes even the strangest combinations lead to some interesting things.
You can also take it slow and not rush things
Even the most dedicated of Everheart alchemists need to take time for themselves. Why not find a nice fishing spot, pull out your fishing rod and enjoy the scenery? Or spend some time cuddling some of the adorable creatures and maybe even taking a selfie with them?
Stop and smell (and personalize) the flowers
Once you’ve raised the harmony of your city enough, you’ll be able to customize the grass, trees, flowers, and shrubs so that each area really has its own unique personality.
Don’t be afraid to experiment
Grow offers a variety of ways to obtain items and essences. So don’t be afraid to use items, place buildings where you want them and dress the villagers as you want. There is no wrong way if it’s right for you! So don’t hold back, enjoy and find out.
Kazumi loves a good hug
As a loyal steed and longtime companion, Kazumi deserves a lot of hugs and hugs. Remember to capture the beautiful moments you share with Kazumi. And who knows… if you take good care of Kazumi, exciting things could happen.
