The new trailer for Spider-Man: No way home throws Peter Parker upside down into the multiverse. The big look, released on Tuesday, gives viewers a taste of the timeline mayhem that comes when the film releases on December 17th.
After months of teasing, this trailer finally reveals the full extent of Marvel’s Spider-Man multiverse. After Doctor Strange cast a spell to make people forget he’s Spider-Man, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker takes on the villains of previous films. Lined up are Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) – whom we saw in the first trailer – Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe). Don’t expect any other Spider-Mans yet.
One character we don’t see in the trailer is Eddie Brock and his symbiote buddy Venom. There’s no confirmation that Tom Hardy would appear in the film, but we do know that the character exists at least in the same universe as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Spider-Man: No way home is again directed by Jon Watts, with a cast led by Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau and Marisa Tomei. As Holland said, it should be the “end” of this franchise. “I think if we were lucky enough to dive into these characters one more time, you’d see an entirely different version,” the star said in October. “It wouldn’t be the Homecoming trilogy anymore. We’d give him some time and try to build something else and change the sound of the films. I don’t know if that happens or not. But we were definitely being treated [No Way Home
