Borderlands 3 players have another small event to look forward to, starting today.
Gearbox is launching another small event Borderlands 3, This time all rare chests will drop loot at a higher speed.
In the Rare Treasure event, every time you open the treasure chest, you have a better chance to receive legendary items.
Assuming you both have ECHOcast Twitch Extension enabled, this drop rate will also apply when you watch a Twitch streamer turn on Rare Chest.
The event runs through February 13.
In addition to this event, a patch will be deployed today that will permanently increase the rate of generation and decline of rare spawns, Hammerock hunting, and chance targets. It will increase the legend's drop rate and chance of being anointed.
In addition, the current "withdrawal" event in the Marivan Blackfield Zoom event will continue indefinitely, instead of ending today as previously planned.
In the future, Maliwan Blacksite's Takedown and all future Takedowns will be expanded by default. The update coming in February will also add a new computer so you can re-enable True Takedown mode.
True Takedown mode restores Takedown to a challenging original difficulty level, designed for four-person collaboration.
After implementation, new machines can be found at the beginning of the map, to the right of the door exiting the airlock.
