In the last hours they have been talking about a possible product that would accompany the premiere of Matrix Resurrecciones It is a rumor that would reveal a curious name: ‘The Matrix Awakens‘, but few details have been revealed of what would be an alleged leak.
The story begins in a post from Reddit video game leaks and rumors section. According to the author, a promotional art for a supposed product called ‘The Matrix Awakens‘ at ‘backend‘(the part that users don’t usually see) of PlayStation Network. Here you can see the image:
As you can see, the title is only accompanied by a text that says “an Unreal Engine 5 experience”. Aside from a distant city, you can’t see much else. Secondly, there is no additional information other than that it would be available for PS5.

What has been thought is that this title would refer to a new game that would be released as a complement to the movie of Matrix Resurrecciones, which opens throughout this month.
In fact, it is considered that it could be revealed at the gala of The Game Awards 2021, to be held on December 9. If so, it would be among the first games to work with Unreal Engine 5, the graphics engine that Epic Games has left in early access since May 2021.
