The 2021 PS Blog game polls are now open! These awards are entirely determined by player choice, so vote to name your favorite PlayStation games from the past year. The 16 categories recognize the best of PlayStation through 2021, on PS4, PS5 and PS VR to celebrate great games, exciting new characters, fantastic soundtracks, graphic showcases and more.
As always, there are a few rules for categories and their nominees. This year, some new features:
- Each category includes a write option in case there is a missing title that you think should be considered.
- Due to the survey closing date, some stocks are not eligible for inclusion. These will be eligible for next year’s candidate selection.
- As with the majority of other categories, Best Multiplayer Experience focuses on titles released in 2021, but also recognizes multiplayer games that have seen significant new content or g ame-changing updates over the past year ( like Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker).
- There are a number of highly anticipated games on the horizon. Some have launch dates, while others haven’t even officially confirmed the name of the game yet. As such, we’ve chosen to keep the selection for the Most Anticipated Game category of 2022 and beyond. to games that have official titles.
- Best Re-Release is a new category that recognizes remasters and remakes. Qualifying titles feature enhancements like quality of life changes, graphics enhancements, and more.
- If a title has won a Platinum in a category in a previous year, it cannot be included in the same category that year.
