For wireless communication, Newskill did not complicate life and used technology 2.4 GHz wireless, a very reliable technology that gives us a maximum distance of 10 to 12 meters to move freely without interference. Of course, in the pursuit of a fairly light design, the Seth do not display a great autonomy since, according to the manufacturer, they have up to 5 hours if you have the RGB on, and double if you unplug it.
As this is a wireless headset, we do not have a control panel on the cable but it is built into it. Thus, in the left earpiece we have the microphone but also the buttons to raise and lower the volume, mute the sound, turn off the lighting and, of course, the on and off button. the microphone by the way, it is removable, which gives us even more convenience if we want to use the headphones only for watching a movie or listening to music and not for communicating by voice.
Regarding the design, Newskill opted for the traditional closed circumaural with faux fur covered earmuffs and an oval design. It has of course a padded and adjustable headband to fit all head sizes, which, combined with its soft pads and low weight, will make it easy for us to forget that we are wearing headphones.
Finally, it should be mentioned that Newskill has installed drivers for 50mm neodymium magnets to ensure clear sounds in the treble and midrange with powerful bass, although it is true that in this case the sound is only stereo and we don’t have a virtual surround sound option. Overall, they travel in a very standard frequency range (20Hz to 20KHz) and high quality sound is guaranteed.
