The company joins controversial fashion
This year the 35th anniversary is celebrated from one of the most famous video game licenses: Castlevania. To celebrate this occasion, Konami has decided to put on sale its first collection of NFT, digital files stored in the blockchain and whose ownership is unique.
These 14 images or short game scenes will be auctioned on the platform OpenSea from January 12 at 11 p.m.. There will be one copy for each TVN. If you are a buyer, Konami will put the name of your choice on its website and you will be identified as the first buyer.
This is Konami’s first step into the controversial world of NFT. It won’t be the only one, since the Japanese publisher clarified that “He will continue to explore new avenues of development and listen to player feedback after this first collection”. It is a new actor entering the scene after Ubisoft, Square Enix and Sega.
