Call of Duty: Vanguard and war zoneThe upcoming season of has been pushed back a few weeks to give the developers more time to improve other parts of the games that The studios announced this on Tuesday. The new date for Season 2 is February 14, rather than the previously planned February 2 date.
The announcement came with a blog post from the various Call of Duty development teams explaining that the delay is intended to give them more time to fix any outstanding issues vanguard, war zone, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare.
The planned changes to the games are widely publicized and come in response to the Call of Duty community’s ongoing complaints and frustrations surrounding the series. The post outlines some of the sweeping changes the developers plan to make to all four games across all available platforms in the near future.
“Upcoming implementations will address several community concerns and other quality of life improvements,” the post explains. “Adjusting the core gameplay loop, mechanics, and balance is an ongoing and important focus. Fixes apply to your platform of choice – two generations of consoles and PC – as well as gameplay in general across all five systems.”
This is the second consecutive year that a major War Zone Pacific A delay occurred during the update. The release of the map and its first season was delayed by a full week ahead of the December 2021 release.
The studios end the announcement by saying that players will be hearing more from them about the overall state of Call of Duty in the near future.
