There was so much chaos among the fans, so the shortage of the project is so Blizzard has started to make a quick return on anyone who bought it WarCraft 3: Renewable energy.
Normal returns should go through the process of finding out what's wrong with your purchase, and won't work if you've been in the game for a while and played it. In this case, however, the demand is so great — among the growing calls for legal action, given the disparity between what is promised and the offer — that players to report immediate success for their refund requests.
Now what was wrong with the game? The final product fell far short of what was promised there Renewal first announced, and making matters worse is that this new version of the game is now the default type, which players can (legally) go back and play the game as it was.
You can sign up for a refund on Blizzard's site.
UPDATE 7:15 pm: Blizzard and respond The disappointment of fans with a long statement that discusses some – though not some of the most prominent – players that have played with them in the game since their release:
Hail players War3,
We have been following the discussions for the past few days and I want to thank you for your feedback and support. First, we want to say that we apologize to those who do not have the experience you are looking for, and we would like to share our plans in the future.
It was a few hours during launch day that we received server load issues that affected the players' ability to log in, but we were able to resolve those later in the day. On the contrary, we have seen public feedback on the various aspects of Reforged that we want to take time to address.
Before we go any further: the team is very happy that Warsters III: Regeneration is finally upon us and we are fully committed to supporting the game for a long time to come. The next few updates and updates we will discuss below are just part of our ongoing plans. This game is an integral part of Blizzard DNA, and the team that loves Warsters III, and we look forward to pouring our hearts out to the Refged community and the Warsters III community.
One of the concerns about Reforged is that we have seen something noticeable when selecting First Mode. We identified a bug that caused the colors and the shading to look different than the original Warsters III, and we are exploring the fixes that will be applied to the larger skin that addresses the problem with others. We expect to release that by the end of this week. The patch will also address many other well-known issues, such as fixing some image icons and sound bugs, using other UI optimizations, and more. Please keep an eye out for reminder notes to get a detailed list of all bug fixes.
Another worrying area we see is with online features such as leaderboards and teams, which works for all Warsters III players, including those who haven't bought Reforged. At BlizzCon we talked a lot about how the team works hard on the back stabilization to ensure smooth transition to the new MMR system, as we did with StarCraft: Reastered. As in the case of Remastered, these and other features will be included in the main Reforged pool, which will also address the issue of first-person players. We will share release plans as work progresses in the coming weeks – please make sure the team is working hard to stop these features.
There are some concerns we have identified that we are currently not planning to address and we wanted to give the community a go. With version 1.30 of the first game, we saw the lowest usage of competitions with Reign of Chaos Ruleset, so we removed both in mid-2019 (Version 1.31). Eliminating the maintenance of misuse has helped us add our full support of the game and focus on areas that affect the majority of players. That said, we expect players who like Reign of Chaos will find custom games with similar assets, which we hope will help fill that void.
Related to that, as we mentioned last year at BlizzCon, we didn't want the game cutscenes to go too far with the original game. We got a little deeper into the thought process later on in the show, but more importantly, the campaigns tell one of the oldest stories in Warsters history, and we want to keep the real spirit of Warsters III and allow players to relive these unforgettable moments as they were (reproduced with new graphics and high-quality art).
We know that this review doesn't answer all the questions, but we are committed to the development and support of the game. We hope you keep an eye on this week's event and future updates and let us know what you think as we continue to do great things. Until then, thank you always for your support and love of Warsters III. We appreciate all your feedback and will continue to keep the Warsters III community updated on all our efforts.
Sincerely,
Warsters III: Guaranteed Group
