CD Projekt Red has released a new update 1.52 for Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles and PC. Many things have been fixed and as a bonus the game would improve its Steam deck compatibility.
With Cyberpunk 2077 free update, it might be time for a trip to the streets of Night City. However, the game continues to be improved and a new patch 1.52 is here for that purpose.
New fixes
After downloading update 1.5 weigh 6,464Lot at PS5, your experience should only be better. There are still many fixes in the patch to correct the situation in all areas. Gameplay, quests, open world, UI, visuals or console specific changes, the developers had their hands full.
For example, at the gameplay level, these bugs have been fixed:
Fixed a bug that could cause crashed cars or multiple nomadic vehicles to appear in traffic when driving fast
Fixed a bug where the first gear animation after picking up a throwing knife could appear repeatedly
Laminated Armor Journalist body armor can now be picked up as loot in Japantown
Fixed a bug where the scout grenade would highlight non-enemy NPCs
Fixed a bug that would invert the camera axis when zooming in after using the Take Control quick hack on a device
Next-gen consoles also come with their own issues that usually get fixed. As a result, this version of Cyberpunk 2077 should be more stable with fewer crashes and benefit from minor interface optimizations. Wet roads on PS5 now have as many reflections as the PC version. the patch notes complete
Cyberpunk 2077: Better Steam Deck Compatibility?
PC players also received patch 1.52 at 6.9GB. Aside from classic fixes, a line would be dedicated to support for Valve’s Steam Deck. At least better compatibility. This point has yet to be proven because obviously the verified status showing Steam games working without optimization is was not attributed to the game.
When Announcing The Witcher 4, CD Projekt Red shared that the expansions planned for Cyberpunk 2077 will continue to run on the REDEngine engine. The switch to Unreal Engine 5 only affects future Witcher games.
