It should be clear to everyone that MMOs are not small games that you can just eat away for breakfast between two weekends. But how much time do you actually need to get to the endgame with a character in Lost Ark, i.e. up to the current Tier 3?
This is exactly what not only many players are asking themselves, but also us. That’s why we immediately started two surveys. After all, when it comes to the question of playing time, money also plays a role, since you can save one or the other time in the in-game shop for real money.
But before we beat around the bush, here are the results of our survey:
Around 275 hours of play until T3
As you can see right off the bat, it took most of you between 150 and 400 game hours to get your character to Tier 3. Since the two choices are only a few percentage points and votes apart, the answer is likely to be around the 275-hour average.
Depending on how much you value the story or other aspects of the game like collecting Mokoko seeds or building your island, it will logically take you more or less time to reach Tier 3. Luck also plays a part. Because you don’t always succeed with the so-called Honing
an upgrade of your equipment that makes many players despair or even abandon the game:
I quit after about 200 hours and item level 1090. I’m so against the grain of this “one-armed bandit” system for upgrading gear, I have no words for it.
[…]
If Lost Ark only gave me a gear upgrade every second or third day because the drop rates are simply low, but the part then directly has the maximum item level for the animal, that would annoy me less than this “Upgrade failed, farm again for 3 days for another scratch card!”.
Too bad. Game itself is great to play. […]
Invitation
In addition to the low drop chances, the in-game shop is also a thorn in the side of many players. There you can buy materials, so you can try your luck with upgrades more often. But as you can see from the second survey above, more than half of all participants have not spent any money so far.
And if you grabbed your wallet, skins were more the object of desire. Just 21 percent of all survey participants spent their money on skins and time savings or just time savings, which is why the above figure of around 275 hours most likely refers to the game time without in-game purchases.

Lost Ark – The Price and Reasons for the Incredible Steam Record
That’s how long individual GameStar users needed
Since the stated playing time number is only of limited significance, we have summarized a few impressions from our readers, who report on their own playing times and item levels:
I have after 200-250 hours (I don’t know what queues were, Steam says 350 hours.) Item-Level 1340 reached with my main and 2 alts on the way there (mid T2). But from that point on, I played a little less actively and pressed the brakes.
THANK YOU POOL
have after 182 hours now one Item level of 1340 achieved without spending any money.

I’m about now 150 hours Playtime just my first Tier 2-Gear on pickup and then level up. The honing is quite tedious, but the game is so fair in almost all other places.

I can only appreciate it right now. Steam says 252 hours of play. Of these, 15 hours are definitely just idle time and waiting loops. Then another character. I hit T3 on the first a little over a week ago. Would say almost 200 hours to an item level of 1344.

Not even 300 hours were necessary for T3. No cashing. And if I deduct the playing time of my old main, it gets even less, then it’s already under 150 hours. And then subtract various other things that have no influence on the gearscore at all, such as B. Farm Mokokos or do the Adventurer’s Tome. Then you are already under 100 hours.

What about with you? How long did it take you for the endgame and do you think the playing time is reasonable? What is your opinion on honey? Write it to us in the comments. We look forward to your opinion.
