A few days ago, news broke that Ubisoft would be preparing to go on sale. That would mean bringing one of the biggest video game companies in the world to market, and one that has a number of original IPs with a good number of sequels under its belt.
This sale still seems a long way off, but it looks like there are already some moving parts to position themselves properly. One of these pieces would belong to the Guillemot family, founders of Ubisoft, and this one she is about to buy the whole company herself.

Currently, this family would control 15.9% of the company’s shares and 22.3% of the net voting shares
According to a new report, the Guillemot family plans to partner with a private equity firm to acquire Ubisoft and halt any takeover bidshttps://t.co/zuiDiKvLvP pic.twitter.com/pMHaMpo0zk
