There are many words, numbers, items or sentences that we have to write in exactly the same way several times a day or a week, or just once in a while. for these cases it is ideal to use a text replacement application (or the native option of the system). In my case, I’m using aText, although there are popular alternatives like TextExpander.
These are applications that automatically replace small texts or characters with larger ones. From the use of “@@” to be replaced by our email to use “miiban” to extend our full bank account number. Or “home” for our full mailing address to save time typing it out.
These are a few ideas, but these types of applications are only limited by our imaginations and potential needs. Do we always write the same corporate blurb in an e-mail? A text replacement will save us time. Are we used to giving very similar answers in our daily work? A text shortcut is also a great solution.
They are small (or big) hacks for our day to day which can even be used to summon an emoji quickly, just think what we might need to save us time on a daily basisand start creating automations.
