For this reason, from Game Rant they have shared the reasons why they believe that Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will not be at this event and when they think they could announce news.

- The delay was accompanied by a more specific release window than before, suggesting that Breath of the Wild 2 is still close to completion despite this. It seems inevitable that Nintendo will talk about Breath of the Wild 2 within 2022, with that information in mind. There is still a lot of BotW2 content to be revealed, and it would not be practical to reveal it all in the first few months of 2023.
- At the moment, Nintendo will most likely start talking about a sequel to Breath of the Wild sometime in the christmas 2022 . By then, most of their other games for this year will have been released, including Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, which are probably the biggest obstacles in the way of Breath of the Wild 2.
- would make sense a Nintendo Direct in November or December with major Breath of the Wild 2 reveals, or perhaps Nintendo will release a new trailer during The Game Awards 2022. Nintendo has too many projects in mind to focus on Zelda right now.

Fans have been waiting for Breath of the Wild 2 for about three years now, so the news that the game will take another year to release is very disappointing.
