Prime Day Nintendo Switch Console Deals
The exciting thing about Prime Day for Nintendo Switch consoles is that you can usually find a lot of great value bundles. While we’re not expecting deep discounts, we’d like to see the Switch OLED drop below the $300/£300 mark, as it has done at times.
Recently in the UK, Amazon dropped the price of the standard Switch console to £229.99, just £40 more than the Switch Lite. We hope to see similar discounts on Prime Day. Speaking of the Switch Lite, Amazon seems to have struggled this year, and they’re mostly only available from third-party sellers. Hopefully there will be new inventory and some bundles to choose from before Prime Day.
Nintendo Switch Deals
Nintendo Switch deals are fairly consistent on Prime Day, with the UK getting a better option compared to the US. The highlight is the neon red/neon blue set with Mario Kart 8 for £289, or the console with Ring Fit Adventure for £314 or the Pokemon Snap for £310. U.S. shoppers can grab the Switch’s Animal Crossing New Horizons Edition for $299.99, and we hope to see it again.

Toggle OLED deals
The Switch OLED was announced last October, so this will be the first time we’ll see it on Amazon Prime Day. There aren’t many Switch OLED deals or bundles to date either, so we’re not sure what we’ll see when Prime Day hits. Hopefully there will be discounts on Switch OLED consoles, as well as consoles with bundled games or a 12-month NSO membership.

Switch Lite Deals
The Switch Lite is the handheld-only version of the console and retails for £200/$200. Prime Day deals leading up to the Switch Lite usually include a console with a 128GB MicroSD card at no extra cost, as well as a possible reduction in the console itself. Hopefully there will be a discount on the Coral and Turqoise Switch Lites that come with Animal Crossing: New Horizons and NSO membership codes.

Prime Day Nintendo Switch Game Deals

First-party games that didn’t release were disappointing, and games that were released in the past were cheaper. Hopefully our fortunes will change in 2022.
American trade hunters have had the opposite experience, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $47.88, Fire Emblem Three Houses for just $39.48, and Luigi’s Mansion and Super Mario Odyssey for $39.48. Not to mention that Borderlands Legends Collection, Bioshock Infinite: Complete Edition, and X-Com 2 Collection are all heavily discounted. We hope to see a repeat of this in 2022, along with discounts on newer releases like Kirby and The Forgotten Land.

Prime Day Nintendo Switch Accessories Deals
The best Switch accessory to get during Prime Day is still an SD card. There were plenty of size discounts last year, with the 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC for £13.99 ($19.89), the 200GB for £21.99, the 256GB for £26.99, and the 400GB card for £42.99 ($39.99). Joy-Cons don’t have any major sales, and probably won’t be this year, but PowerA’s third-party controllers are worth keeping an eye on.
