The Valiant is billed as an action RTS with RPG elements, intended to offer a fresh experience for players looking for something new to sink their teeth into. Focused on more tactical combat with reduced forces, building seems less important than in a more classic Age of Empires.
The Valiant wants to switch from the more traditional RTS
Players can embark on a huge campaign with 15 missions and each mission must be carefully prepared by a small number of troops and heroes, each with 3 skill trees. The Valiant also offers two different multiplayer modes: competitive and cooperative. While the game’s campaign is designed as a single-player experience, 3 friends can enjoy Last Man Standing mode together and defend against waves of enemies including mini-bosses and bosses. .

PVP mode features 1vs1 or 2v2 scenarios consisting of fast-paced clashes where players capture control points.
Historical setting, but fictional scenario
In The Valiantt, the main protagonist Theodoric takes up arms to stop Ulrich, his former brother in arms, who is setting fire to Europe and the Holy Land in order to find an ancient relic known as the Staff of Aeron.
The game is planned for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series for an as yet unknown date.
