To use the Huawei Mobile Cloud, you need a Huawei account. If you don’t have one yet, you can do so directly on your smartphone or PC using the official Huawei Cloud website register. To do this, click on “Register” and enter your details. If you already have an account, you can simply log in with your existing access data.

Go to the settings of your Huawei device and tap the gear icon. Select “Huawei ID” and log in with your user data. The cloud is now activated.

Go to “Huawei ID” again and select “Account Management”. You can set the backup options in the “Cloud” section. Here you can activate the automatic backup of contacts or photos to always keep your data backed up.

Select “Cloud Backup” and then “Backup Options” to create an initial backup. This means your important data remains protected at all times and you can restore it if necessary.

By default, each user gets five GB of free storage. However, sometimes there are special promotions that give owners of certain Huawei devices more free storage space permanently.
