Fallout: London – Gameplay video shows the complete prologue of the total conversion mod
Fallout: London is “just” a total conversion of the hit RPG Fallout 4, but don’t let that fool you. The scope of the project is enormous and the map size is already close to that of the basic game.
In a new gameplay trailer, the ambitious mod team shows you the complete prologue of the game. With Fallout London venturing to Europe for the first time, comes a great deal of creative freedom and the chance to surprise even Fallout veterans in one way or another. The project seizes an opportunity that Bethesda has previously shied away from.
You can find everything there is to know about the impressive mod project in our article:
Fallout: London
Mod finally wants to deliver what fans have been wanting for a long time
What the trailer tells us
As soon as the professional narrator begins to lull us into a lull with the typical »War… was never changes« greeting and the first slide images pass in front of our eyes, one thing suddenly becomes clear: the aim here is the highest quality. With Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy, two well-known stars from the Doctor Who series are on board as speakers.
The distinguished English accent literally plucks us from our usual fallout environment and takes us into the new setting of the London post-apocalypse. With a haunting tone, we are prepared for the dystopian conditions that also prevail here after the fall of the Old World.

Fallout: London is supposed to be a whole lot darker than the official role-playing games. A direction that Bethesda may also be considering, because they quickly poached the main author of the mod.
After the start of the actual gameplay, the further staging of the story also has a consistently high quality. Of course, the core virtues around the SPECIAL character system are retained in a playful way. Accordingly, the character sneaks, loot and hacks in the direction of the city of London.
Creative new territory
Since there is neither Vault-Tec (the saving bunkers are called Pindar stations here) nor the Brotherhood of Steel, the team was able to help in particular the competing factions let off steam.
The intro introduces the Tommies, who cling to the old order, and the populists of the 5th Column, who don’t agree at all. On the other hand, the chivalrous idealists of Camelot and rumors about a mysterious group of angels are discussed, who are said to have a penchant for science and act from the dark.
Together with three other communities, they fight for supremacy in the metropolis, which consists of at least 15 diverse districts. This is already completely finished and will only be polished while the mod team fills it with content.
The mod has been in development for three years now. That one of the most popular fallouts can be created in a much shorter time was proved by Obsidian, who rammed Fallout: New Vegas out of the ground in just 18 months.

5th place: Fallout New Vegas – “I can’t think of many games that have done that”
By the way, you can already own some of the new weapons and outfits view on the official site and download it from Nexusmods for Fallout 4. The rest of Total Conversion is due out later this year.
If that worked, we’d be able to let off steam in London before the release of Starfield, Bethesda’s next major project. Although this comes without a likeable Vault Boy, it promises to be a lot more role-playing than Fallout 4.
