In the wake of the announcement of the title, which is set in a new, dark sci-fi universe, it was also announced that Outriders is no longer only for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but also for the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X. is scheduled. As a result, contrary to the previous announcement, the release period is no longer summer 2020, but the release should only take place at the end of 2020.

What is Outriders about? While mankind suffers in Enoch's trenches, you create your own outrider to embark on a journey across the hostile planet. The story takes place in a varied world in which you hunt for a mysterious signal, explore cities, forests, mountains and deserts and have to survive all kinds of firefights with various skills and weapons.

Pre-orderers of the Standard Edition for PC, PS4 and Xbox One should receive a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition from participating retailers, which in addition to the game includes the DLC "Hell's Rangers Content Pack" with additional equipment sets, weapons and more.
