List of Street Fighter 6 characters and all fighters confirmed so far

Street Fighter 6 has finally been revealed, along with an all-new theme and roster of fighters for fighting game fans.

With Street Fighter 6, Capcom has reimagined fan-favorite fighters and even created new ones to add to the mix. We don’t have a full roster of characters confirmed by Capcom yet, but five have been featured so far.

You’ll find information on each of the five Street Fighter 6 characters revealed so far in this guide. As new ones are announced, updates will be added. Start reading about each character to have an edge over the competition at launch.

List of confirmed Street Fighter 6 characters

So far, Capcom has revealed five fighters for Street Fighter 6. Some have appeared in the series before, while one is brand new to the arena. Below is key information and illustrations for each. Here is the confirmed roster for Street Fighter 6 so far:

Ryu

Let’s start with Ryu, who Street Fighter fans know very well. He has been confirmed for Street Fighter 6. Here is his biography on the official website:

“Always training, this martial artist seeks true strength. Well-mannered and sincere, Ryu travels the world in search of worthy adversaries. After defeating the Satsui no Hado, he now seeks even greater heights.

Not much has been revealed about Ryu’s moves or style in Street Fighter 6 yet, but we do know that he hates spiders and loves martial arts (according to his biography, apparently).

Luke

Luke was the last fighter added to Street Fighter 5, so it’s great to see him back for the sequel. Here is his biography:

‘A contractor for a PMC, Luke uses his elite military background to teach mixed martial arts. His days off are spent eating junk food, playing video games and fighting, but make no mistake, Luke plays to win.

He apparently hates horror games and loves travel, PC games, and wacky t-shirts. Hope we see more of this fighter very soon!

Jamie

Jamie is the first all-new fighter to be revealed for Street Fighter 6. He has visual flair and a serious style in his fighting, with acrobatic tricks and great swagger in his kicks. Here is his biography:

“This self-proclaimed peacekeeper from Chinatown aspires to the example set by Yun and Yang, the Twin Dragons. An expert dancer, Jamie places justice and friendship above all else, defending his town with martial skill.

In terms of likes and dislikes, Jamie hates being lectured and arrogance. However, he loves his grandmother, as well as dancing and Yun, Yang.

Chun Li

Chun-Li doesn’t really need any introduction, as she’s surely one of the most iconic fighting game characters of all time. She’s back in Street Fighter 6, with a fresh new look and her massive punching abilities. Here is his biography:

‘Former ICPO agent, Chun-Li takes care of Li-Fen, victim of the Black Moon incident. With Shadaloo separated, she now runs kung fu classes and has become a beloved member of the local community.

Interestingly, Chun-Li loves shopping with Li-Fen and days off. She hates crime and indecision.

Cunning

Guile is the most recent character to be introduced, having been unveiled at Summer Game Fest 2022. He’s back with the same hairdo he’s worn for decades and seems to have lost none of his brutality since the last game. Here is his biography:

‘A US Air Force pilot who fights for his country, Guile has succeeded in dismantling Shadaloo and avenging his friend Charlie. He likes to live the life of a father, but new battlefields await him.

Guile hates secretive people and lazy people, but loves walking his dog and watching sports. Maybe a little football?

Street Fighter 6 character list leaked

About a week before the game’s full reveal, leaked images and videos were reportedly found showing the full character roster of Street Fighter 6. 22 characters were contained in the leaks, and Capcom even commented on them:

Of course, these leaks have not been officially confirmed and should be treated with caution. At the very least, though, they give us an idea of ​​the type of characters Street Fighter 6 may have at launch. Fighters like Honda, Blanka and Dhalsim all feature in the leak. If true, fans will be very happy to see their favorite fighters return.
