This is great news for fans. Zack will be back with Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core Reunion. This is what the PSP game port looks like.
It should have been the big surprise of the Final Fantasy 7 conference, but it was ruined a few hours before the celebrations. The best-informed insider at Summer Game Fest revealed: There will indeed be an FF7 Crisis Core reunion.
FF7 Crisis Core Remastered officially made
Between some mobile game announcements, Square Enix has formalized Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core Reunion. One of the flagship games of the PSP, released in 2007, is therefore being remastered on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and even Nintendo Switch. The port will include everything you’d expect from such a game: improved graphics, updated resolution, and probably a few other changes to be announced later.
FF7 Crisis Core Reunion will be available this winter. As a reminder, the spin-off takes place seven years before the events of Final Fantasy 7. Players take on the role of Zack, a second-class SOLDIER who is sent with his mentor to the capital city of Wutai on a mission to end the resistance. Not everything goes as planned and strange creatures resembling Genesis, a missing member of the SOLDIER First Class, appear out of nowhere. An important adventure for the lore of Final Fantasy 7 Remake as it reveals more about the past of Cloud, Yuffie, Tifa, Sephiroth and Aerith in particular.
