Asobo Studio announces October release A Plague Tale: Requiemand the studio also released an expanded gameplay trailer.
The sequel to the acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence follows Amicia and her brother Hugo on a new mission as they try to survive in a world of indifference, but a terrible curse is hunting them down.
Six months after the first game, Hugo’s curse appears to be under control, with the siblings looking south to start a new life and find a cure for Hugo’s pain.
But all hell broke loose when his powers reawakened, forcing the duo to run again. In the game, you need to make new allies and try to find a prophesied island, which may be the key to saving Hugo.
Announced in June 2021, the gameplay was first shown during The Game Awards 2021, and it gave another look during the Xbox Showcase earlier this month.
release time October 18, A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch through cloud. This will also be the first day of release for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
PC gamers should know that the studio is working with Nvidia to add ray tracing and DLSS to the game.
